Surprise Wedding Ceremony & Reception

We thought we heard it all at Red Scooter, until Angie came to us enquiring for a Surprise Wedding in Melbourne, that not even the Groom knew about! Angie wanted to Surprise her partner James, by planning his ‘50th Birthday’ at Red Scooter and revealing to everyone that it was their wedding. Unfortunately, by law James needed to be aware that he was getting married so they chose to keep the surprise element from the rest of their guests. The night started off in our Ceremony Room, where canapés and beverages were served to guests until the Ceremony area was revealed. The guests were shocked but couldn’t be any more delighted for Angie and James to be getting married. As Angie made her way down the candle light aisle, there was not a dry eye in the room. It was time to cover all bases of the night, as everyone was lead to our Dakota Room to start the intimate and lively reception. The menu selection began with hand held canapés & antipasto platters, followed by substantial main meals and fresh fruit platters. Celebrations continued as the countdown leading up to James’ actual birthday started and a birthday cake for him was brought out.This event was truly a Red Scooter Unique event, and just when we thought we had heard it all, we were wrong. Thank you Angie and James for a wonderful night!
