Vegas entertainers greeted guests on the red carpet as they disembarked the buses for The Davis Langdon Melbourne divison's Christmas lunch. Fancy drinks and a fabulous venue are the key ingredients for a great and fun filled afternoon ahead, and that it was! After a seated lunch in the venue the formalities began - awards presented, humorous speeches and slide shows began. Shortly after the last award was accepted, the poker, roulette and pool tables opened and the afternoon games began. As groups of guests challenged each other with brilliant poker faces, the atmosphere was electric, dance floor full, bar crowded and guests immersed themselves into the theme of the afternoon … VIVA Las Vegas!

Event Name: Yamaha Music Australia, Christmas Celebration

The brief was burlesque, and no venue in Melbourne could better house such a theme. Moulin Rouge dancers, flame throwers and fire breathers; this cocktail of artistic entertainment was a huge success at Red Scooter. The night began as Yamaha staff arrived along the Red Carpet, and were welcomed by bright lights, colors and fancy cocktails. Guests dined whilst being entertained cabaret style with Can-Can dancers, mime artist and fire breathing shows. Following this the Yamaha Music Staff Band sent the party to the dance floor for the rest of the evening.
Event Name: Mitre 10, Christmas Celebration

Swing, Shake, and Rock ‘n’ Roll is exactly what the Mitre 10 group did on their Christmas Party at Red Scooter. It was a night of true unique events! The guests had the red carpet rolled out for their arrival, and a photo opportunity couldn’t be missed for these A List attendees. The client insisted that the theme of the evening be "all positive thoughts” which was easily achieved. The night consisted of themed entertainment acts, such as a guest appearance by Elvis and his posse, and our very own Managing Director hitting the DJ decks. Interactive band sets made sure the dance floor was always busy and positive thoughts were most certainly flying around!

Mitre 10
Event Name: Hageymeyer Electric Group, Christmas Function
Number of Guests: 200
Direct from the red carpet of Hollywood, Hagemeyer’s Christmas function was a night to remember by all. Welcomed by a human Oscar stature, Austin Powers, Marilyn Monroe and Charlie Chaplin, guests walked the Red Carpet to the flashing camera lights of the paparazzi. Tables were covered with black floor length underlays, shimmering sequined black overlays and chair covers. Towering glass centerpieces filled with red water and floating candles added to the Hollywood glamour theme. Guests were mesmerised by the hypnotist feature performance whilst Roller girls skated the venue serving food throughout the night. Later in the evening, guests were entertained by our Resident DJ, “DJ Bruce”, who created an Oscars after party atmosphere.

Event Name: Solterbeck Arabian Night, Christmas Celebration
Number of Guests: 50
Solterbeck wanted a Christmas party to outdo all of the parties they
coordinate throughout the year and Red Scooter was just the venue for
them. Guests were welcomed into a magical Arabian cave. Tables were
draped in beautiful exotic fabric with black chair covers and mind
blowing centrepieces which added to the experience. Matched with a
mysterious Middle Eastern themed menu and Belly dancing performances
that had to be seen to be believed, the night astounded all party
goers.
