Some success stories...

Event Name: Goldie Rozendorns Kosher Bat Mitzvah, 1st August 2010
Number of Guests: 150

Bar / Bat Mitzvah Venues Melbourne"The Rozendorns wanted to make sure that every guest attending Goldie’s Bat Mitzvah, weather young or old, had a great time. This is no easy feat when trying to keep 50 energetic young adults entertained whilst ensuring that their more ‘mature’ counterparts can mingle, relax & enjoy the night. To achieve the seemingly impossible, Red Scooter effectively blended 2 events into one, seamlessly. Goldie and her friends loved the American themed food station serving mini burgers, pizza & hamburgers with other guests being able to select from the hand held canapés & antipasto platters served to the café style tables.  DJ David Southwick got everyone in to the party mood with the first Hora Set, before an explosive hip hop performance wowed the crowd & got everyone on the dance floor. The fun didn’t stop there though, with a breathtaking dessert station being revealed to the guests shortly after. With a choice of ‘Dippin dots’, fairy floss , French pastries & a spectacular chocolate fountain, guests didn’t know where to start!

"From the moment we met to Sunday night, which has been more than six months, you have bent over backwards to ensure that the night would be amazing. And it was! For a start, the venue is second to none.  Visually and atmospherically, the venue is cosy and welcoming.  But more than this, the service, the food, the staff, the thought that goes into every single aspect, adds to a sensational production of an event that would be better described as a ‘performance’.  The layout of the tables and the way we separated child from adult in a way that included them all at the same time, was indeed a clever feat which worked to produce a function that EVERYONE enjoyed. The freshly cooked food at the food stations was novel and beautifully presented.  Guests truly enjoyed roaming the space and enjoying the spectacle of it all. Most of all, Eammon, you were spot on understanding what I wanted and this is a special skill to have.  You took my ideas and made them a reality and I really appreciate that. We highly recommend Red Scooter to anyone considering the venue for any type of function they want to feel like a ‘performance’, where the guests are the ‘actors’ in the performance"

Event Name: Matt Mitchell’s Barmitzvah, 27th June 2009
Number of Guests: 180

Matt’s Barmitzvah was such an important event for the Mitchell family - a celebration to be remembered amongst family and friends for this important milestone in their son’s life.  With over 60 children and 120 adults, Red Scooter created an event which was fun for all ages.  Steve B was the DJ for the event and he set the scene right away.  The night was filled with great food and drinks specially designed to cater for both the adults and the children.  Guests were entertained by break dancers and BMX riders, and there wasn’t a spare spot on the dancefloor all night!

Thanks for making Matt’s Barmitzvah one remember and be talked about! Amazing!”

Function Venues In MelbourneEvent Name: Tara Saltzman’s “Art and Colour” Batmitzvah, 16th August 2008
Number of Guests: 220

Tara Saltzman was an artist in the making – art was her passion and Red Scooter worked with her and her family to create an “Art and colour” theme.  To set the scene, Red Scooter staff were dressed as traditional French artists complete with beret, striped tops and white gloves.  Centrepieces for each table consisted of paint pots with artist brushes, and even French lamp posts were scattered throughout the venue.  Staff served food from paint pallets and paint pots instead of usual platters.  There were a number of live food stations including a mouth watering chocolate fountain and Ice cream dessert buffet that had to be seen to be believed. And that is just the start.  There was a Tattooist, Caricaturist and a Magician to entertain the children throughout the night.  DJ, “Stevie B” set the night alive also with party music to suit all ages.  An event Tara will remember forever!

“The best night of my life!  I had so much fun and wanted the night to go on forever!”
Tara Saltzman
