Themed Events Melbourne

There is nothing like a themed event to get everyone in to the spirit of the occasion.  We have seen guests revive old wardrobes dressing from the 1920's through to the 60's, 70's & 80's eras.  Can Can girls performing at the Moulin Rouge, the paparazzi welcoming guests as they alight the red carpet to make their way to a Hollywood Awards night and an opulent 'Cirque Du Soleil' complete with acrobats, magicians and some amazingly talented contortionists.

Event Name: Annabel Maclean, 21st Birthday Celebration, The Gaga Show, Saturday 13th November 2010

Clymax Event Design and the team from Red Scooter transformed the Dakota Room into a uniquely different look and feel on the request of a young client that was looking for a 21st thematic with a little zing. The clients brief was Lady Gaga “Bad Romance” leaving the look open to a wide range of iconic pop culture created by the world’s most vibrant and creative artists of the 21th century. On arrival into the venue, guests were lead into the Dakota room and dazzled by a spectacular plasma wall playing synchronised Gaga vision.  Each plasma was flanked with large deep pink rose arrangements dressed in gloss black ornate urns wrapped in red flashing bud lights. A full sized gloss black coffin with bad romance decaled onto its open lid and draped in black sequins dressed with hundreds of red tea light votives and miniature mirrored disco balls was the custom built as the gift table with a difference.  No detail was spared in making this the event of events for her circle of friends.  The question is, what’s next.

"I would like to say an ABSOLUTELY GIGANTIC THANK YOU TO YOU ALL!! I had the most absolutely sensational evening! It ran so so smoothly and everyone was in fine form. It has been months of organisation and it finally culminated in an absolutely glorious event. Everyone single person who attended said it was without doubt one of the best nights of the year and for some, EVER. (including me!) I would like to especially thank Max for organising the theming, the coffee and decal on the mirror were greatly appreciated by all and I also would like to thank everyone involved with the photo board. Could you please pass on my many thanks to the staff on the evening, in particularly, Justin, he was extremely helpful and very organised throughout the night. I came in and collected a couple of things on Monday morning and missed you all but I am truly truly excessively happy. I will definitely be recommending Red Scooter for any event for anyone in the near future, and perhaps, you never know, we could have another event there..hell my 30th? haha, god let's not even think about that. I believe Max- you have sent through quite a number of photos, thank-you, my computer is being excessively slow but I will look through them when I can this week when I'm not living at work and get back to you regarding it all.  Once again, THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH!

Event Name: Sonia Metz Bat Mitzvah, Saturday 28th February 2010

The brief from the Metz family was that they wanted their event to be special to celebrate their daughter Sonia’s Bat Mitzvah.  The menu needed to be kosher, and able to cater for gluten free guests but also incorporate a Jungle Theme!  The Red Scooter team took on the challenge and not only developed a themed menu, but also created a complete jungle environment.  The ceiling was filled with ivy that draped down to tables adorned with animal print overlays, crystal centrepieces and exotic flowers.  The room was then filled with palm trees, special effect lighting, fog and a feature elephant for photo opportunities!  Of course everyone involved was right in to the jungle theme with the band dressing up and working with Sonia’s older brother and sister to prepare special tribute songs which they sung on the night and Red Scooter staff sported animal tails, head pieces and animal print bowties! 

“Thanks Eammon... we are getting very good feedback.  You, Chantelle and the rest of the team did a great job with the theming and management of the event; Rob did an excellent job with the food - everything was delicious; and Sarah and the Red Scooter team also did a very good job of management all the special guest requests on the night; some guests specially mentioned how good the waitressing staff were - they ought to be congratulated becuase they are very good at what they do.  Thank you all again for helping us make this evening special for Sonia.”
