Some success stories...

Event Name: Fred Health Christmas dinner celebration, 12th December 2009
Number of Guests: 160 guests

Christmas is one of the most joyful times of the year and Fred Health knows it.  They had so much fun at their midyear fundraiser that they booked again for Christmas.  Guests walked into Red Scooter with Christmas carols playing and Christmas trees scattered amongst the venue glowing with beautiful white light.  All the guests felt special as they entered on the red carpet and got excited that Christmas truly had arrived!  Beautiful linen with towering Christmas tree centrepieces spot lit green and red lighting with Bon Bons completed the look.  Our Head chef created a spectacular, traditional Christmas dinner with a twist.  But with all the trimmings that you would expect at Christmas.  Ho ho ho!

Event Name: Mitre 10's 50th Anniversary and 2009 Christmas Celebration
Number of Guests: 175 guests

When ‘Mitre 10’ first called Red Scooter they had three main criteria:

1.  For the staff to be able to take a trip down memory lane

2.  A positive & motivating event to say thank you to all the staff for such amazing working in 2009 and

3.  For the event to be the biggest & the best event the staff had ever seen!

So we developed the theme ‘Throughout the Era’s’ and from the moment guests arrived on the Red Scooter red carpet, they felt like movie stars.  To celebrate 50 years of an Australian owned company, the night was divided into three different era’s - the 50’s to 60’s, 70’s to 80’s and 90’s to the present. The Master of Ceremonies walked the guests back in time by revisiting key points in history around the world, and Mitre 10’s life story, then the phenomenal six piece ‘Matt Hetherington Band’ who can make any guest get up & wiggle their tail feather jumped right in playing songs from that designated era. Matt began the 50’s era by not only singing ‘Jail House Rock’, but also dressing up as Elvis.

’Mitre 10’ had such rave reviews by all staff, they called Red Scooter three days later and pre booked their Christmas Celebrations for 2010.

“The feedback from the night has been nothing more than exceptional.  A great night was had by all that attended.  Thank you so much to all the team at Red Scooter.”

Carolyn McKaige, Mitre 10
