The Ceremony Room at Red Scooter provides a unique location for an intimate gathering of 20 guests to larger celebrations of up to 250 guests. Exchange your vows under the beautiful lampshade lighting, luxurious draped surrounds and be able to see each and every guest at your wedding.
We have a range of celebrants that we can recommend depending on your preferences. If you are not hosting your wedding reception at Red Scooter (although we would love for you to stay on into the night) then The Ceremony Room is still available for your bookings and why not consider an afternoon tea or light drinks and catering to entertain your guests between the ceremony and the reception?

WOW! l know that sounds stereotypical but this Wedding Ceremony definitely had that factor. Award Winning Floral Designer meets Award winning venue = Match made in Heaven. Flowers Vasette are seriously one of Melbourne’s most unique floral designers . Dedication, style and perfection were in mind when setting the pace for this elaborate wedding ceremony. Deep red rose petals outlined the walk way Jacki used to make her way to the alter to meet her husband to be. After the emotional Ceremony, the new Mr and Mrs Chen’s guests gathered in front of the Ceremony Space . Each guest were given a bunch of helium balloons to let go into the perfect sky. Children were running around with bubble makers to celebrate the union of Jaquie and Chao. This amazing backdrop created exquisite photo opportunities for the family and friends.

It is a pleasure to celebrate a colleagues wedding reception, but a greater honor to host such an occasion. Demonstrating the capabilities of our staff and diversity of the wedding ceremony venue, Sophie and Paul hosted both their ceremony and wedding reception in our Dakota Room. Guests were welcomed into a uniquely designed arrival space, before the wedding ceremony area was revealed. After announcing man and wife; once again the wedding venue transformed - from a wedding ceremony space, to a beautiful cocktail wedding reception, where staff were quickly on hand with champagne to toast the married couple. Now it was time to party - canapés served, drinks flowing, and roving desserts devoured!
"Now I know why Soph loves you all so much! You did an amazing job with Sophie's wedding reception and as one of my last official ‘maid’ duties I wanted to say thank you. You really made Sophie & Paul’s night one to remember and all their guests had a wonderful time (me included!) Particularly young Matthew who declared – it was THE BEST wedding ever! Everything worked brilliantly, the food was perfect and the ever flowing drinks tray made sure everyone had a fabulous time.The wedding was all about having a party and that was pulled off, largely due to your hard work and perhaps a little instruction from the bride! Red Scooter offer you insurance that there will be an alternative option in the city known for having four seasons in a day! Outdoor weddings are gorgeous but not if blistering winds, torrential rain or 40 degree temperatures are being handed out by mother nature. To remove the worry, you can now secure your date and time at the Ceremony Room at Red Scooter. Just a 25% deposit ensures your perfect ceremony will go ahead, regardless of the weather and should you proceed, you can pay the balance prior to the event. (*Deposit not refundable)
