One of the most important parts of most events is to ensure guests are treated to excellent food and beverage; guests are being hosted by you so we understand that both yours and our image and reputation are at stake.  This is why we ensure our menus change seasonally, reflecting only the freshest product, best quality wines and some yummy treats along the way.  Here is an idea of what we can offer, but  contact us  to receive our full menu for the season or talk to us about your catering requirements for your event.

At Red Scooter, we try to think of everything... our menus come complete with options for Vegetarians, Vegans, Lactose Intolerance, Gluten Free Diets and Nut Allergies.  If you are seeking a menu that is Environmentally Sustainable, we have a range of menus that are produced from ‘low methane producing live stock’ and also contain products that we source locally.  

Kosher?  No problems...we can do Kosher Catering and are equipped to provide either full or conservative kosher menus.

Guests can be served hot breakfasts such as:
  • Eggs Benedict - Lightly toasted muffin topped with shaved ham, poached eggs and finished with Hollandaise sauce
  • Eggs Florentine - Lightly toasted muffin topped with spinach, poached eggs and finished with Hollandaise sauce
  • The Full Scooter - Scrambled Eggs with petite gourmet sausages, grilled tomato and mushrooms served with wholegrain toast

Coffee Breaks can be yummy with sweet treats whilst Lunch should be healthy and fresh, with a good injection of protein and carbohydrates to ensure your guests have the energy to make it through the afternoon. Below are some of our ideas, but contact us (hyperlink) to get the full menu!

The food needs to be easy to eat, filling and every guest needs to get enough dinner... we know, we are on to it!  That is why we suggest a good balance of all the food groups such as...

  • Char Grilled Prawns tossed with fresh herbs, garlic, lemon and extra virgin olive oil
  • Crispy Lemon Chicken - with a sticky honey, citrus sauce
  • Italian Crostini - topped with ripe tomatoes extra virgin olive oil, torn basil and sea salt
  • Mini Pizzas - topped with baby spinach, artichokes, pine nuts and goats cheese
  • Oysters served in Asian spoons floating in lime juice and garnished with coriander, mint and chilli
  • Peking Duck Pancakes with a Hoisin and cashew dipping sauce
  • Petite Burgers with tomato, cheese, mayonnaise and rocket.

  • Spicy Chipolata Hotdogs served in a petite baguette with caramelised onions, sauce and mustard.
  • Green Thai Vegetable Curry served with rice, crispy shallots and a coriander salad
  • Fresh fish, calamari and chips served with lemon wedges and parsley.
  • Mongolian Beef – shaved rump steak, stir fried with garlic, sesame, chilli and soy served on steamed rice

Entree
  • Mildly Spiced Pumpkin Soup - with toasted coconut and coriander pesto
  • Char grilled Thai Beef served on a salad of crispy noodles, Asian herbs and topped with chilli caramel peanuts
  • Antipasto Platters of prosciutto, pancetta, salami, goats cheese, olives, marinated capsicum, eggplant, zucchini and semi-dried tomatoes, with grissini sticks 
  • Veal & Mushroom Orecchiette - with garden peas, tarragon and a white wine sauce.
  • Kataifi Prawns baked in shredded filo with a honey pumpkin salsa, organic yoghurt and chervil.

Main Course
  • Oven Baked Chicken Breast stuffed with sage, shallots and garlic crumbs on a bed of mushroom and spinach with jus gras
  • Roast Sirloin of Beef with tarragon jus and chunky roast Provencale vegetables 
  • Crispy Skin Salmon with baby bok choy and a red capsicum dressing
  • Pork Sirloin  with cauliflower, pear, watercress and a bourbon mustard glaze 
  • Eye Fillet with cabernet sauvignon jus and red onion jam 
  • Marinated Rack of Lamb served with petit pois a la francese and a rich lamb jus with house dried tomato. 
  • Ricotta & Spinach Cannelloni with Napoli sauce and shaved granna padano 
  • Individual Tart of Goats’ Cheese - kalamata olives, Spanish onion with a capsicum dressing and rocket

All main course selections are accompanied with roasted garlic rosemary potatoes and a mixed leaf garden salad

Dessert
  • Apple Strudel dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with a brandied Chantilly cream.
  • Sticky Date Pudding with butterscotch sauce and double cream
  • Chocolate Mud Cake with crème caprice and mixed berry coulis 
  • Strawberry Mille Feuilles – sugared strawberries and thick vanilla bean cream, served between layers of flaky pastry
  • Poached Pear in spiced sauternes, filled with hazelnuts and prunes and served with a cinnamon chocolate sauce
  • Selection of Australian Cheese Dried Fruits & Crackers - (served banquet style only)

Desserts Buffet
Our Beverage Packages have a range of award winning wines, local beers, fresh juices and icy cold soft drinks.  Most packages are served for five hour durations.  Red Scooter staff are trained in the Responsible Serving of Alcohol, and by law may refuse to serve alcohol to any person/s who appear to be intoxicated. Red Scooter prohibits any minors under the age of 18 years to be served or given any alcoholic beverages.

Road Safety
Red Scooter offers a unique ‘Road Safety’ service team – some light-hearted fun but a serious job to help your guests get home safely.  We place mobile breathalysers at the exit to test anyone who wants to be sure or the whole party that their blood alcohol limit is below 0.5.  The team can be in character as old fashioned English Bobby police officers or as Special Service Agents but the results will always inform guests whether or not it is safe to drive.
