The Meetings & Events industry awards recognise excellent business practice in the industry and Red Scooter was presented with this accolade at the gala dinner held as part of the 23rd MEA National Conference held in Melbourne.

Opening in June 2010, the Ceremony Room at Red Scooter is available for all of those important celebrations in life. From christenings to weddings and everything in-between, this non denominational space boasts stylish decor and luxurious furnishings. The built in sound system is iPod and MP3 compatible so all you will need to do is book the date and invite up to 250 of your family and friends.

Red Scooter along with our preferred audio visual supplier, selectAV have worked together to upgrade the facilities available for your use at Red Scooter. The event spaces now contain new projection screens, data projectors and DVD players. Additionally, new lecterns and profile lighting has been installed. The upgrade means that the spaces are now 'event ready' for conferences, meetings and presentation dinners - and if you need to add something, then the select AV team are available to assist with your needs.

We were lucky enough to be the chosen venue for the Bat Mitzvah of Sonia Metz. Red Scooter took the guests back to Africa in a complete jungle themed environment - the ceiling was filled with ivy that draped down to tables adorned with animal print overlays, crystal centrepieces and exotic flowers. The room was then filled with palm trees, special effect lighting, fog and a feature elephant for photo opportunities!

The kitchen worked hard to deliver a kosher jungle menu with some special gluten free items to cater for all of the guests whilst wait staff sported animal tails, head pieces and animal print bowties!
